What is Media Literacy?
A common definition of media literacy is "a set of competences that enable people to access, analyze, evaluate, and create messages in a wide variety of media" including print and electronic, words and images, video and audio. Being media literate allows you to better understand how media messages affect the way you think, feel, and behave. Being media literate allows you to better interact with the world around you.
